We are the Cherne dealer for much of Florida

While working on a plumbing project in 1951, Lloyd Cherne mistakenly installed an access tee that had a smaller diameter opening than the correct cleanout tee and therefore could not get his cast iron plug to fit. Lloyd thought there had to be a better solution than ripping out three stories of cast iron pipe in order to replace the tee with the correct size. He proceeded to affix an ordinary valve stem to a rubber playground ball and the Test-Ball® idea was conceived. Cherne Industries was founded shortly thereafter in 1953.
